Set in an idyllic location directly on the shore of Lake Chiemsee, the 3-star superior Hotel Schlossblick offers panoramic views and hearty Bavarian food. It was professional and at the same time felt like family business. The room was beautiful and the breakfast was exquisite 😍 We will return for sure.

Our hosts were so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean and comfortable with everything you could possibly need. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with such a great choice and the freshly cooked scrambled eggs. There was lots of information provided on places to visit and eat. There was a kettle and tea and coffee provided in the room with plates, glasses and cups and saucers. We had a wonderful stay at this gem of a place the couple running it were lovely and we have no hesitation in recommending this place for a fantastic peaceful and comfortable stay.

Breakfast was delicious with an excellent choice. I particularly liked the self-serve coffee machine and the ability to make myself a double-shot cappuccino. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful with huge gardens and a short tree-lined path to the lake. The box spring bed was a delight.
