Hotel Jägerhof har ett lugnt läge nära centrala Zermatt, 5 minuters promenad från linbanan Klein Matterhorn. Hotellet erbjuder ett gym och gratis WiFi. EVERYTHING. what an incredible experience staying at this hotel. we were emailed with instructions to help us get in touch with the hotel via WhatsApp. after a quick message, someone came and picked us up in a shuttle from the train and drove us to the hotel. we were greeted (by name and with hugs) by Daniela who made our stay unforgettable. she is the warmest person and made us feel like we were staying with family. we were informed that we got upgraded to a bigger room which was amazing! after checking in, I went down to ask for another pillow and Daniella checked her computer and saw an entire apartment became available with a balcony and a view of the Matterhorn and moved us to that room! she even helped carry our bags upstairs. we will absolutely be staying here when we come back for winter skiing and will be recommending this hotel to all. this hotel deserves 5 stars for service, comfort and location. PS. the bacon at breakfast was so good!

There are restaurants and also Coop grocery shop very close. The room itself was nice, calm and with excelet view.

New, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, friendly host answered any questions. Great view of mountains beyond a few shrubs. Convenient to Crans. Even though the host left some pasta and bread, you might want to bring along some of your favorites or something more substantial. Restaurants in Lens don't open until 7pm for dinner. There is a bakery with excellent quiche, salad and, of course, sweets.
