Grangette Entre Chiens et Loups is a 3-star property situated in LʼAnse-Saint-Jean. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The guest house has family rooms. I'm not a dog lover but was attracted by the price, location and great reviews. Incredible place. Very clean for starters - no dog hairs, e.g., on the inside, which I had been a bit worried about. And to my surprise I really loved THESE dogs - magnificent, strong animals but also well-behaved and gentle. They're obviously well-trained and well-treated. I almost didn't go on the morning walk, and that would have been a big mistake - it turned out (like for many people!) to be a highlight of my trip. I'd love to go back in the winter for the sledding. Also, as all reviewers rightly note, the owners are very friendly.

Village Historique de Val-Jalbert is set in Chambord, within 300 metres of Val Jalbert Historic Village and 37 km of Zoo Sauvage de Saint Felicien Centre de Conservation de la Biodiversit. The site is exceptional. the breakfast was ok but more options like eggs and bacon would have been nice. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. We had great service and the rooms at the general store were 5 starts.
