We were breathtaken by our first glimpse of Traunsee from the property—it was like something out of a dream. Even though there was no staff on-site, the self-check-in and key pick-up were smooth. (At first, the quiet, empty hotel and peaceful surroundings gave us a bit of a thrill after our long drive!) The free minibar was a great touch, especially when no stores or restaurants were nearby. The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of delicious options, all beautifully arranged. I only wish I could have stayed longer.

I loved it so much I stayed an extra night.

From the thoughtful details like the names and the room design to the high-quality amenities—even the soaps were special and of exceptional quality. The bakery is simply to die for, and the breakfast is an absolute must. The sourdough bread was some of the best we’ve ever had. We were beyond pleased and can’t wait to return!

Tiene un balcón con bonitas vistas del lago, se aparca fácil...Estuvimos muy a gusto en el apartamento. Relación calidad/precio muy buena. 100% recomendable.

Seehotel im Weyer está en Gmunden, a 38 km de Kremsmünster Abbey y a 48 km de Bildungshaus Schloss Puchberg. This hotel has great location, close to city center, right on the lake and it’s also very quiet. The room was spacious and had a balcony as well, that you can use during spring and summer. Breakfast was great with good selection and amazing desserts and sweet pastries. The staff were very friendly and communicative.
