The price was also very reasonable, which made the overall experience even better. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay!

What made this hotel truly exceptional was our lake view from the large and spacious balcony and the amazing breakfast. Not only the food was amazing at the breakfast, but the view overlooking the lake with perfect lighting, and outdoor dining--really perfection! We also enjoyed the private beach access. It is a nice plus that there are toilet facilities at this beach. Not only did we swim and sun during the day, but we went to the beach at night to watch the Perseids meteor shower and it was quite the show. The lakeside was quite dark with no ambient lighting so the viewing conditions were ideal. Thank you for the hospitality, we would come again in a heartbeat!

A wonderful place to relax and rest even in winter. Very good heat in the apartment, hot water all the time. Ideal compartmentalized apartment with all facilities. Alexandra was a welcoming host and helped us in everything we needed.

The hotel sits on a green hill and enjoys a breathtaking, first-row view of the valley below and of the lake - especially from the generous terrace used for breakfasts and dinners. Our 3-night stay was absolutely great. We felt welcome right away as we were so lucky to get upgraded to a family suite with view on the lake by the management. So did our dog who stayed with us and enjoyed the green, pristine hills surrounding the hotel, to the point of meeting - and chasing - a deer on her first walk at our arrival. The hotel management seems family-run and was exceptionally friendly and professional. The breakfast buffet was fresh and varied. Altogether an amazing value for the money! The Attersee lake - just a few minutes drive - with its clear, turquoise waters and green, mountainous surroundings overwhelmed our senses. And so did the city of Salzburg just a 40min drive away. We can only recommend this hotel!

Offering an infinity pool with a sunbathing lawn, a spa area, a restaurant, and a terrace with panoramic views of Lake Attersee and the mountains, Hotel Irmgard is located in Strass im Attergau, 5 km... This property made it hard to leave Attersee. I adored the staff as well as the property. The parking is free, located in the front of the property. The bikes available for borrowing were a nice addition, too. If you prefer E-bikes, I would recommend renting them in the village. The breakfast was amazing, and I enjoyed having an assigned seat, I recommend the dinner, there is no need to go anywhere, as the staff provide a 4-course meal and one night, the Austrian buffet was great after hiking 30km. The property is kind to dogs, and there's a great walking path nearby. The room was spacious, with a spa shower and a beautiful terrace, overlooking the forest behind. I will forever adore the Attersee.
