Joel and Flor are the kindest hosts and very helpful. They can help with tips and information on what to do, and also book tours for a fair price. The place really feels like a home. Is very clean and the beds are very comfortable. They are not bunks, so it all feels very nice. I would definitely recommend. Just 30 meters away you can find a bakery and a parrilla. The buses stop 10m away from the house, so you can reach the center no problem and still have a more secluded feel.

Cilene del Fuego Suites & Spa provides rooms in Ushuaia near Ushuaia Harbour and Government House. The 4-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom and free WiFi. The room was the 6th floor and had excellent views. We got upgraded. Everything is remodeled and looks new. Friendly staff. Very clean room and spacious. Better than expected

Boasting barbecue facilities and views of garden, Mirador del Kaiken is a recently renovated apartment situated in Ushuaia, 4.6 km from Encerrada Bay. Eduardo was great very flexible for our needs and friendly!! Great facilities including the washing machine and good heating which we needed. Everything was excellent.

Casa de familia features sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Ushuaia, 4.5 km from Encerrada Bay. The owner is the most kind and helpful person you will find ever. I highly recommend.

Located just 1.8 km from Encerrada Bay, Alem Casa de Familia provides accommodation in Ushuaia with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. Danny and Patty are wonderful hosts. They were very cheerful, warm and helpful, and I felt like I had family in Ushuaia. They were very helpful in giving advice on what to do in Ushuaia, and telling me about restaurants, places to go, and how to get there. I also ordered breakfast and dinner, and both were very delicious. The room and bathroom are always very clean and comfortable. It's on a hill a little away from the main street, but you can get there in about 5-10 minutes by taxi, and it's in a great location with a panoramic view of the city. I stayed for 3 nights, but I was so impressed by the wonderful home, the family, and the beautiful city that I wanted to stay longer. It's worth more than just a stay.

One night we had an ad-hoc, family-style BBQ during which Leo assisted us with the purchase and proper grilling techniques for the local Argentine meat. The hostel is a roughly 40-minute walk from the trailheads for a couple highly recommended day hikes as well. While the location is outside of the tourist center, you can catch the colectivos for free into town or take an Uber for around 2.000 pesos. Overall, it was a warm and familial environment with guests from many countries alongside Argentineans where you can comfortably cook yourself a nice meal and share a drink with other guests. Offering a shared lounge and garden view, Pacifico Departamentos is situated in Ushuaia, 700 metres from Encerrada Bay and 20 km from Tierra del Fuego National Park. The place is spacious, with two toilettes, an integrated living + dining rooms and an integrated kitchen to the them. And most importantly, the view of our unit had a fantastic view of the port by the Beagle Channel, both from the bedroom and the living/dining rooms! It is well-equipped, clean and well located (although not in actual city centre), with all facilities at walking distance.
