El Calafate

The staff were really helpful and friendly and helped us to book a tour to the glacier with them for cheaper than we had found online, and a taxi to the bus station. The hostel was well maintained and very clean. They provided free coffee and some basic cooking items such as oil. The kitchen was very well stocked with utensils and crockery - perfect for us as we cooked all of our meals during our stay.

This is a very nice place. It is clean and has everything you need for your stay. The girls at the reception are extremely polite and ready to help you with any request. Good breakfasts with a fantastic view of the city at the hotel nearby. Ideal location and all the necessary accessories. I recommend!

Very clean, spacious and cosy room, was very quiet and with a nice view to the inner courtyard. The location of the hotel is also great, just around 5 mins by walk to the main street with shops and restaurants. Bit far from the bus station but the taxi is cheap. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of options. Stuff was very friendly and helpful. They allowed me to leave the luggage after checkout and also helped to order the taxi to the bus station.
The room was very nice, and very clean. Gustavo gave us amazing tips for treks and restaurants when we arrived which was very appreciated. A decent breakfast was given to us each evening which was ideal for getting up early and getting out. We were very appreciative of our own kitchen. Location also perfect.
lovely staff, great location, extremely cheap - it’s a low budget option and therefore there are downsides. But its far from horrible!
Ideal location near the Calafate bus station (5 mins walk up the road), I stayed for one night between coming in from Chalten and going on to Puerto Natales - on this basis I can fully recommend the hostel. It is comfortable, the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating (the welcome from the dog was an added bonus), and it is great value for money. Cheap and decent food in the evening (perfect after a bus ride), and solid breakfast in the morning.
