The property is clean, nicely decorated and in a safe neighbourhood. It’s an old property, I think it’s around 100 years old but in nice condition for living in 2024! There is a large back yard with a hammock and some chairs. The front has a nice screen porch with an old porch swing where I sat at night with the overhead fan running to keep it pleasant in the July heat. Nicely located, only took me about 8 mins to get to the capital and the river front. I went out for walks after 2300 each night and it was very quiet and safe. Saw people a couple of times who were walking up to one of the bars at the little downtown area in Cloverdale. There is a place called Dino’s that does nice bar food, a burrito place that is decent and a wee cocktail bar called Leroy’s. They all have the same owner and are nice and clean places to eat or drink.
For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Excellent and clean facility. Love the location which is close to several shopping centers and a large variety of restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff. Look forward to staying there again.
