Marcelo was great host. On first day he let us to check in couple hours earlier. House was clean and tidy. On the corner of the street is great bakery shop, where you can eat for cheap. Train station to New York and Newark airport is 10mins walking.

...actually TOTAL DISASTER:
1. Host wanted me to send him additional 30$ as damage deposit. I NEVER experienced that via Booking and it wasn't part of a proposal when I booked. Host even threatened me to throw us out at 23:00, if I don't pay.
2. Host has big number of rules you have to respect
3. Host told me where to go and how to find it only one hour before my arrival. Since we didn't have internet access that made me additional expences - despite that he was writing and threating me for damage depisiite the was day before that
4. Address he advertises DOES NOT EXIST. When you come there, there is no hous with that address!
5. Shared bathroom was far from clean
6. Walls are paper thin. You can hear people talking in rooms in the same level and people normaly walking over the house
7. Bed is made from some kind of couch, we were two and we couldn't sleep normaly, beacuse yogi was so soft we were constantly pulled one another in the middle/center of it.
8. We were locked out one day, because they didn't changed batteryes in the door lock. We were in front of the room for about 30 minutes before host answered to me. After two and a half hours, despite the fact that he was informed, the matter happened again
9. When we came in the second time and decided not to close door anymore, I told him not to send me anyone and let him solve this next day (we were leaving next morning), but he send me some non English speaking woman to change batteries - at 22:45 in the night.
10. He needed a reminder to send back damage deposit.
11. not to forget - there is no Subway access - it's PATH train access... PATH is not part of NYC subway and it needs to be paid additionally
Host is everything host shouldn't be. I'm host my self and I'm ashamed for him. This hous was not build to be and apartment house and it shouln't be that, but someone saw easy money. This was the far worst Booking experience I ever had.

Good location from Newark airport - easy to get to with hotel shuttle (from P4) or using the train and a ten minute walk from Newark Penn station.

Both the room and bathroom were very clean and spacious. Staff were friendly and the location was nice by the riverfront. There were some homeless people living right by the hotel, which may be uncomfortable when returning on foot at night.
Breakfast was quite good, but the scrambled eggs were very dry.
The room was very spacious, cleaned everyday and towels were replaced daily.
There was very little street noise during the night, allowing a restful nights sleep in their very comfortable bed.
The location was perfect, a less than 10 minute walk from Penn Station was ideal for our commute into Manhattan.
The restaurant staff were very pleasant, morning and night, especially Jason the bartender, he made an excellent French Martini and he couldn't have been more attentive, always happy to serve.
The staff was incredibly helpful, patient and competent, always finding a solution to our requests. On one occasion, an item got lost. The manager helped retrieve it in no time.
The location is also ideal for traveling to Manhattan Penn Station.
I warmly recommend this clean, comfortable and very well managed hotel.
The main advantage of the hotel is its location relative to the PATH station and inexpensive parking (as for New York). Good price. A wonderful bonus is the view of the Manhattan skyscrapers from the window! The room is modern, closer to high-tech style. In general, the hotel is good for transit tourists by car who want to visit New York. Although the travel time to NY is quite long.
