The tent itself is cozy. Bed is really nice and comfortable, slept surprisingly well.
Would advise eye mask and earplugs for good sleep as it gets bright early and people might be driving cars with their lights (and loud motors) on while you sleep.
The host prepares you well by warning you that it’s the outdoors and it won’t be a « hotel »-like stay, so our expectations for comfort were not high. However, arriving at the tent we were quite pleasantly surprised by the quality and comfort offered.
There was a water dispenser which wasn’t advertised, shampoo and body wash in the showers and a USB 3.0 portable charger in the tent for charging necessities.

The location was very good. With a rental car it was an easy drive to food, shops & site seeing.
They had some snorkeling gear avail for use at the beach.
Loved that the turtles came up onto the beach at night & you were able to take a walk after dinner & see them.

Fantastic location up in the North Shore area. The unit is small but more than enough as really it is just somewhere to sleep while you explore the area...
The host was very friendly and wanted to make sure we were happy without being intrusive.

For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Great off-the-beaten track location on the North Shore a few meters from the beach. The property has a fully stocked kitchen and four bedrooms. The bus stops nearby and takes you to all the sights in the area. The hosts seemed keen to help make our stay the best it could be at the beginning. Two families stayed here and the the kids (aged 8, 8, 6, 5) loved it.
The location was perfect. Short drive to pipeline with beautiful Ma’akua ridge trail hike access a 5 minute walk. The home was cozy and had everything someone could need for cooking and laundry.
I'm not sure what the few negative reviews are talking about. Our stay was fantastic, super clean, no loud noises, nothing bad at all. Our host was super communicative and helpful. The location was great if you're looking to get away from the noisy city and traffic (the North Shore is awesome, totally fell in love with it). The property is right on the beach and has an amazing dreamy view that never got old. Loved the wild chickens running around like they own the place.
