Sometimes the photos on booking make the place look better than it actually is, with this place it's absolutely the other way around.
The pictures don't do this place justice, it is one amazing location and an amazing room with everything you want. It felt like a little paradise just for us and we almost didn't want to leave the nest!

Woke up to a beautiful lake in the morning. Close to a town where you can get fresh break for 0.40 euros if you can find the bakery and also a small general store that had everything. Central location allows you to choose what to do in the area; The abandoned hotel, the trail around the caldera, the huge number of vista points, swim in the lake or enjoy the picnic area that's just beyond (0.5km) the cabin. Besides the occasional fly not scary insects inside the house. Make sure to open all the window shutters.
The location was perfect, in the center of Sete Cidade. We loved it. The house was ready and very clean, plus the host answered very fast when we needed something. We didn't use the kitchen a lot, but it has all the necessary cookware, and everything was very clean. Bathroom was also nice and the bed was comfy :)
