The house was spotlessly clean & virtually brand new. Nice quiet location, but you can park on the street directly outside & a five minute walk to places to eat & drink.
Air Conditioning both upstairs & downstairs. The perfect place for a stop off in the Duoro Valley.
Set on the banks of the Douro River and overlooking beautiful natural scenery, Hotel Casa do Tua offers air-conditioned rooms with a TV. It features an outdoor pool with far-reaching views.

Stunning views, unique experience. A worthwhile stay off the beaten bath of Duoro valley.
The rock Villa is situated within the terraces of a quaint vineyard along the Duoro valley. We spent the mornings walking through the vineyard and amongst the grapes, and had the whole area to ourselves. It was a perfect secluded location and great for our family.
Besides the location, and the unique hand-built home, the service was attentive, kind, and familial. We received a personal tour of the wine making process, and were invited to eat the grapes off the vines.
besides being able to eat from the vineyard, the host also provided two huge baskets of breakfast foods, including croissants, different types of bread, jams, and honey that were made on property and a selection of cold cuts.
We also got to sample some of the port wine that they exclusively make for family and friends. One of the best port wines we have tried in Portugal.
Set in Vale de Figueira, Ferradosa GuestHouse has a terrace. The air-conditioned accommodation is 35 km from Longroiva Hot Springs.

We had a small (but quite adequate) double room with private bathroom sharing the top floor of a beautiful stone building. It was comfortable and clean.
Surrounded by the beautiful vineyards of Quinta do Pégo, Hotel Rural Quinta do Pégo is a modern 4-star hotel with an outdoor pool and stunning views of Douro Valley.

The staff were very warm, welcoming and helpful. While it was the tail end of the harvest season, it was still very interesting to see some of the work in progress and we were encouraged to go into the vineyard to watch and to ask any of the workers questions that we might have at that time. Regrettably, we were unable to enjoy an in-house dinner at the Morgadio because the venue was involved with the local Wine Festival which was taking place at that time. We learned from some fellow guests that they had been able to dine there a few nights beforehand and it was an incredible dining and educational experience which offered a topnotch tasting menu including wine pairings with each course. The intimate atmosphere and the charming hosts made for night that they said was truly the highlight of their entire trip to date.

The location was excellent, the hosts were very welcoming even leaving Portuguese pastries at our doorstep All facilities are excellent and as described. The Booking website photos are exactly what you will experience...stunning views from atop a hillside.
For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
It was what I expected. Perfect location, very nice facilities and good staff. Very nice place for a relaxing vacation. I do recomend it. Good surprise with breakfast.
The location is out of this world! So quiet and so beautiful! The accommodation was excellent and comfortable for our family of 4. The cooking facilities were good and the breakfast was simple but yummy! Louisa was very welcoming and willing to help with everything. It’s close to the train station and we went to Pinhão for the day which was convenient. It was cold when we stayed but the heating in the chalet was more than adequate.
Felipe was lovely! The staff were super nice. We went out on a boat tour one morning and it was beautiful. Felipe took us all around and told us stories about Duoro river, it was my favourite part of my stay! The location of the Bungalows is great for the stunning views with sunsets and sunrises over the mountains! Very picturesque. But there is nothing around for restaurants or groceries. Plan your food in advance! There is one restaurant down the road but it's only open from 12pm for lunch. It closes by dinner time. Great food though!
