We had a beautiful view from our room and the dining room. We only stayed one night and I wish we had more time to enjoy our private balcony facing the town of Manteigas. Everyone was helpful and kind and made sure we were comfortable. I highly recommend the restaurant for dinner and make sure to try the Serra da Estrela cheese! The breakfast is fresh and varied. I highly recommend this hotel.

Perfect location, excellent and helpful hosts, very nice breakfast, and the best of all got upgraded from shared to private room with no additional charge. Made my mountain break unforgettable!
Certainly the best price in the area. Staff was helpful, everything was clean, I got a surprise room upgrade, and the breakfast was delicious. Also, the bar has cheap beer and offers a full dinner menu for reasonable price (didn't try that one though)
All has startet with a perfect communication with Marc, the onwer. He gave us a simple and clear instruction how to use the the functional and well maintained infrastructure. Furthermore he gave us support to find exellent places to eat etc.

The location is simply incredible. Amazing access to the mountain, simple access to Covilha if needed as well. The host was an absolute pleasure to deal with.
The surrounding area is fascinating, inspiring and relaxing.
We got a free upgrade to a private with ensuite which was great! In general it's very clean, they have a small kitchen. Breakfast was good and the location on top of the mountain is just amazing! They've got a fireplace in both buildings which is a nice extra aswell.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is incredible, in the middle of the mountains. Very nice breakfast, and very clean environment. The beds were a bit old but still good for a good rest, and the room very spacious
