Everything just perfect, tottaly exceedet expctations. The host Paulo is fantastic - thank you a lot. Huge house with huge terrcae. Seperate bathrooms for each bedroom. Paulo, the host, informed me 2 hours before my arrival time about the check in process and the location via WhatsApp. This was super helpful as I didn't have to figure out myself. The house is very big, very centrally located, very clean and very well maintained. Paulo offered me to use the washing machine for laundry, the kitchen has a coffee machine, the bed is very comfortable. A great place to stay for hikers after a long walk!
For people who are travelling on a budget like us it seems to be the most affordable place to stay. The hostel is a bit old and I didn't like the bathrooms/showers. It wasn't unhygienic, but it wasn't totally clean either. The room was ok, not to my taste but it was spacious and clean. The staff was really kind though, breakfast was fine, I really liked, that they offered to take breakfast early, because you don't want to leave late if you're hiking on a sunny day.
Brand new hostel in a quiet street which is spotless and has a great kitchen and lounge downstairs. The dorm room is a little cramped and the shared bathroom downstairs from it which makes a night time pee an ordeal. They offer a nice enough breakfast and a service forwarding backpacks on to the next stop on Rota Vicentina if too tired. The outdoor areas are nice and the village of Almograve and beach are worth visiting.
The room was beautiful and the entire place very clean. Good location, nearby to the hiking trail and a few shops/restaurants. Good communication with the host.
Location was close to town and the beach. Could easily walk to either. Very easy to check in. Suite was very clean. Bed very comfortable. Fast response to emails with questions. Breakfast was not included but there was a little cafe nearby that opened early.
