It’s really super charming place to stay. It’s a house with a soul, with nice interior and amazing backyard. There were so many vintage items in the house, like a small museum to stay in :) It has all the equipment needed to cook and grill. And it was nice to stay outside and enjoy the view to the ocean.
The island is small and this place is easy to reach. So leave your doubts that is far from Ponta Delgada ;)

The Host, Sandra is one of the nicest people on earth. Always giving and sharing. Nothing was too much trouble and we were fortunate, albeit that we are sure that we are not the only ones, to be treated as friends rather than just guests.
We were so thankful to her for making us inclusive and taking us by car at a small cost whenever and wherever we wanted.
Sandra was bot transport, guide and fellow diner for meals out, a trip to the tea plantation and even a hen party.

the apartment is well equipped and the location is perfect to visit Sao Miguel. Off course, a car is needed, however within 20/30 minutes by car you can see huge amount of wonderful places.

additionally, walking for 15 minutes you will reach a wonderful mirador where you can have pic nic or cook your food while admiring the sea.
There are very few cars using the streets around the house during the day, and almost none during the night. So, the apartment is absolutely quiet.
A nice house in a very quite and remote location but it is difficult to get there without a car. Contactless check-in and check-out was very easy. The house has everything a family might need including kitchen utilities. A splendid view to the ocean from the main room is included. There as also terrace with barbeque.
The landlord was very nice and kind although didn't speak much English.
Be ready there are no shops around so you have to bring everything with you.
Overall we enjoyed staying there.
The property is close to the main road so it’s a great place for a base to explore the island when you rent a car. The house was very clean and extremely well equipped, we had everything we needed and more! The host was very kind, helpful and always available, we felt well taken care of and very welcomed. 😊 Comfortable house which smelled amazing, great for a family or a group of friends. There is a lot of space to cook and relax, wifi and a smart tv. Can’t wait to be back!

What a wonderful place. Manuela built a lovely home and offers to share it with her guests. You can even taste her delicious secret recipes. The location is fantastic, although you will need a car to get around as there's not many options for food. The house is spotless, and has all the main amenities, especially the kitchen. The terrace has the most beautiful view and the area is very quiet at night.
