This hotel is in an excellent location near the train station but out of the hubbub. The staff was very nice. We were exhausted from travel and slept like a rock. Breakfast was great. The evening Happy hour was a relaxing time.

What a hidden gem, and a life saver of a bed and breakfast! Our 3 person work group had some last minute travel changes and we needed to book 3 rooms in Salerno, pronto! Luckily, Cielo Stellato was available and within our price range. The value for what we paid was incredible. The location was right downtown and was within walking distance to a great little supermarket and many restaurant options. The rooms themselves all had ocean views and were very comfortable. The decor was modern, and they each had air conditioning units as well as their own balcony. The bathrooms were also modern, clean, had great water pressure and hot water! On top of being a wonderful host, with clear instructions on how to enter and access the units, our host went above and beyond to get us some last minute catering for our trip home. He called his friends down the street at a restaurant called “I Love Piadina” (with amazing food and service) and asked if they could make up a special order for us within the hour. They pulled it off at his request, and we were able to have a very successful trip home! (If this isn’t an example of the best customer service one could ask for, I don’t know what is!!) Thank you again, Cielo Stellato!!! We highly recommend your accommodations to anyone visiting the Salerno area. If there was a 12 out of 10 star option, you would receive it.

Very nice apartment in the heart of Salerno. Close to everything- lots of great restaurants and shops, easy walk to the port or train station (both ~15 minutes).
Air conditioning was excellent. Room was very large.
Mary, the host, was wonderful. She met us to check in and gave us info about Salerno, answered texts with questions immediately, and even gave us vouchers for breakfast at the coffee shop a couple doors away.
We liked it so much we stayed two extra days.

Very good location if you are not traveling by car. Train station with excellent and affordable connections is practically on the doorstep. Third floor with elevator is no problem. The host Elena very kind and helpful in any way. Many stores and bars in neighborhood. I would recommend open market and fish store AUTUORI. Not the cheapest but wonderful fresh fish and seafood. If you fancy some pizza (even fried one) there is REGINA around the corner.

Excellent service. Very kind and helpful hosts. Very clean and fully-equiped room. Most of the time, the side effect of having a very central location is that you must also accept a bit of noise. However, the place here became very quiet as soon as the restaurant downstairs closes, so it remains a pretty good deal !
I recently had an incredible stay at Casa Nina deluxe that surpassed all expectations. The apartment was exactly as shown in the photos, spotlessly clean, and the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. They even provided complimentary snacks to welcome us. This was a very likeable guesthouse for a budget traveller. Right in Old town. Old building but completely renovated inside with modern bathroom. I really liked that the little balcony had chairs and a table. Excellent WiFi. Everything was spotless clean. There is a little cheap café just outside the door. Salerno might not be very interesting after the Amalfi coast, but I stayed here to do a day trip to the magnificent ruins at Paestum. They are very different than all the other ruins you might have seen in Italy, and totally worth it.
