The staff was very kind, helpful, accommodating and their English was very good.
They upgraded our room to a king size bed that was very nice and the room looked out onto the piazza. The view, king size bed, kind staff and the parking garage made our trip very comfortable.
Somehow I missed that parking was $15 a day, so I was unhappy about the last minute additional fees, but let me tell you, I was so grateful for the attached parking garage with service to have the car ready when needed. A great service!!!!!
They offer breakfast but we didn’t get to try it. We did however have a light dinner in the bar on a rainy night. We each got the minestrone soup, delicious, and we shared a saffron risotto, also delicious.
The water pressure in the shower was very good, but the cold water in the bathroom sink trickled out. They bed with extra pillows and good sheets was very comfortable.
The hotel has a long history itself and it’s surrounded by wonderful buildings, shopping, restaurants, piazzas and a great location in between Parma and Modena. However, we found everything we wanted right here, plus a fantastic Reggio Emilia cheese and balsamic tour too, so we never went elsewhere. It was a nice relaxing, slow paced, lots of locals, very few tourists in this beautiful historic town … and the view from our room was fantastic!

Almost everything! The host is so lovely (She was sympathetic and picked us up at the train station late at night!). The apartment is excellent: very clean, neat and had everything necessary for cooking. It is at a walking distance to supermarket, shopping mall, Pizzaria, two laundries, pharmacy and coffee shops. Not far from historical part of town and train station. Easy to go to Modena, Parma, Bologna, and surroundings. And a walking distance from Suassuolo’s stadium if you’re a football fan like us. I highly recommend it!

Great location, very clean, very comfortable, with a wonderful host who made our stay so easy and relaxed. We received very clear and timely instructions on how to get to the apartment, where to stay, etc. We absolutely loved it.
The accommodation was set in a beautiful, peaceful location, the breakfast was all homemade, the accommodation was spotless & Martina & her family are exceptional hosts, nothing was too much trouble, Martina recommended & booked some fabulous restaurants for us as well as various food tours.
The location is great and very close to the centre. It is a very cute house and kept very very clean. Anna was very kind to us and was there whenever we needed her. She prepared yummy breakfast every morning with her homemade cakes. I truly recommend.
Very comfortable bed, great location, all very clean and organised. I definitely recommend it! I booked the bedroom with bath, but there is another bedroom with shared bathroom which is actually not shared because whoever is in the other bedroom has its own bath so the other bathroom is not used. I plan to take both bedrooms next time I'm back with my family.
The appartment is in a very nice and quiet location, off the city center. The walk to the city center is about 20 minutes, along a main road, very accessible and safe. It was very clean and had all the basic necessities for our stay. We appreciated the complimentary coffee and candy. Our room and the bathroom were spacious enough. There is an amazing bakery nearby and it is close to a super market and a bus station. The host was polite and answered all my messages promptly before we arrived (only in italian though).
The location was perfect, in an industrial area next to the higway on the way to Bologna. The host arranged keys for us for a really late checkin after midnight and was very responsive even at 1:00am as we had small issue getting the keys. We were upgraded to Zen apartment no.1. The apartment was fantastic with a kitchen, living room, pvt bathroom and a bedroom with super comfy bed. Everything was spotless. Thanks a lot. Would love to be here next time!
My experience was overall a pleasant one. The location of the hotel is ideal as it is very close to the city market and the historical centre. The rooms had a nice smell of cleanliness and they were tidied every day. The staff was smiley, gentle and helpful and responded immediately to all our inquiries.
The open and strong Wi-Fi is another plus as we happen to travel for business.
Definitely a place to stay! It is recommended for all categories of visitors, either for business or pleasure!
