Hotel was very close to the lake so had beautiful views but the shutters didn’t open so you couldn’t really appreciate it.

On arrival we were met by Simona, who showed us around the accommodation, our journey was held up and we were delayed but contact with her was excellent including advice on alternative routes. Contact with Simona was excellent at all times including advice on booking gardens in advance and the buses. We only had one question after arrival and received an immediate answer. We were made to feel welcome with fresh herbs being brought. The property is as described, the kitchen and bathroom both well equipped and a comfortable bed. Wifi was good. The location was great, a short walk to Lenno Ferry and even closer to the bus stop. There are also two supermarkets just up the road. We had the ground floor apartment and were able to sit on the terrace overlooking the front garden.

It was up to date and immaculately clean. The host, Attilio, had a bottle of bubbles waiting on the table for us and he was most welcoming and helpful. Everything worked properly and it was close to the station, lake, ferry terminal and restaurants.

Villa Varenna was one of our favourite stays whilst travelling Italy. We were given a room on the top floor that had the best view over the lake and looking at the other town, Lecco. I've never had a view like this in my life, it was straight out of a movie. The breakfast is served downstairs on the terrace (or inside if its windy/rainy). The breakfast, although simple, was probably the tastiest we've had all trip and surprised us! The location is perfect, near the ferry terminal, train line and restaurants.

The location is ideal as it is just opposite the lake. It is near to ferry stop. Good part of this ferry stop is that last ferries from Bellagio and Varenna are available till 11:40pm. There are restaurants and Mini Market in the vicinity.
It is a spacious apartment. The apartment has AC which is very important when the weather is hot. It is very clean.
The property was very clean, modern and neat! It was in an amazing location with the best view of the lake with an amazing terrace! Close by to ferry terminals and the bus stop as well as restaurants and shops. Very tranquil location not too crowded but still easy to access everything.
Great location and property was just amazing. Very well equipped, it had absolutely everything you need, even for a long stay (including coffee maker, CD player with lots of CD's to choose from, tea/coffee different flavours). It was very comfortable and very clean.
Our host Marco was amazing and very helpful. Check in was quick, everything well explained, we were very happy with everything and would recommend this property to our family and friends.

Perfect location, very spacious, very clean, super comfortable and all the facilities one needed, including full kitchen and good bedroom cupboard space.
It was a pleasure to stay in Griante. Perfect location, a 5-minute walk to the ferry. The apartment has everything including shower items, an ironing kit, etc. Very clean and spacious. Host communication is 10/10! They provide information regarding possible short term noise in shared area, gives great recommendations for restaurants, and places to see. They also ask if everything is okay and reply within a minute. I can highly recommend it and thank you so much for this experience, which I’ll never forget.
The location of the house was ideal in all aspects and it was a perfect getaway for family/friends. The facilities were top notch with a very responsive host. We felt home for the duration of our stay here and had to leave this place with a heavy heart :) If you are looking for a spacious place right in front of the lake ( with a view of Bellagio) for your group along with space for your pet and car, please do not miss this one :)
