Our host, Ruža warmly welcomed us, with local liquor and coffee. We also received a loaf of home-made bread, which is a nice touch, but was also quite convenient. That is, Krasno is a remote location, and on weekends and holidays you may not rely on the small local grocery shop. Next day, Ruža surprised us with an offering of pastry that she prepared. Kids (and parents) really loved it. The apartment has 3 bedrooms with 8 beds, which is something we could not find easily in the vicinity. Krasno is the entry point to the national parks and it has snow when elsewhere in Croatia it melts. Alpine scenery in Krasno is something completely different from Croatian Adriatic and yet it's only 25 km away from the coast. I highly recommend visiting in any season.

If you want to stay in a cozy apartment with all the amenities, this is the place for you. Very nice host does everything to make you feel comfortable. This is the place for those who want to explore the nearby Northern Velebit National Park. Everything (parking, kitchen, bathroom, amenities, bedroom, (I think there is no air conditioning), TV, internet, freezer, etc.) is in working order and functions properly. I could not find anything that made me feel unsatisfied. There is no microwave, but during my stay in Croatia I noticed that this is common in other private apartments. This place met my needs and expectations.
I would give my highest rating 9 out of 10 (because 10 is my own home)....

I stayed in this apartment with my two kids and my friend with here child. We had a great time, apartment is very clean and well furnished. The place has big yard in front with small playground for children and there is also small shop downstairs, which is practical for basic grocery shopping. Owners were really welcoming, gave us some good ideas where to eat and what to visit. Apartment is on good location, near National Park. All in all, really nice place, hope to come back again one day.
A big house which was very clean and comfortable with a lovely fire oven heating the whole house. It was in the heart of Krasno, not far from the Bear sanctuary and Large lookout at the top of the Velebit.

This was a very nice apartment in a small vilage. Mostly quiet, during rhe day there were a few log trucks, that passed the apartment. The flat was very clean and beautiful, the beds were comfy, the kichen was fully equipt. The host was super nice. We were traveling by motorcycle and we parked our 3 motorcycles infront of the flat, so they were safe. There is also space for a car. It is a cheap place to stay near the Jadran magistral. :)
