Xantha is great for two reasons: the stunning view of the Pagasetic Gulf, the mountains and Volos; and the really wonderful lady who is now running the place (and who also speaks very good English). One should take into account that the road up is steep, narrow and at some places winding, not an easy one, and it's best to have a good engine, but it's well worth it for the view from your little balcony and the friendliness and generosity of the hostess: who not only invited me to eat as many of the ripe figs from the trees as I possibly could, but even paid my bill with the dinner delivery man (you can order food up) since I was in the shower!... As well as your own balcony, there's also a verandah off the drawing room with its own view of the Gulf, and the outside patio sitting area is especially nice. There's an open bar in the main drawing room of the hotel where you can make yourself herb tea from a varied selection, or of course coffee. So unless you would find the drive up difficult, Xantha is very highly recommended!

I enjoyed my second stay at the apartment. It has an unbeatable location near the port, the city centre and the central bus station. Ultra clean, with e host always present; satisfying my need for an early check in, although they had a late check out. There is no doubt I will return to this lovely apartment. And yes, it is really sunny while enjoying your coffee looking at the port of the city. It is only a couple of meters away from the city’s only private gallery and next to it there is one of the two most famous “tsipouradiko”.

We really like the location and the view from our balcony which looked the port of Patitiri. Really nicely designed rooms, especially we liked a roof fan in our room that saved us from the heat and we didn’t have to use the air conditioner we don’t prefer in general. Everything was great! The room was really cozy and with amazing view. The beds were so good that it was hard to get up in the morning. Every person we met in the facilities was utterly helpful and polite. The breakfast was amazing with homemade goods everyday. Finally the location was ideal. I would suggest this place to everyone, especially couples for a dreamy getaway!
