Mateus Studios is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived the staff could not do enough for us (bear in mind it was 1am!). We were captivated by the breathtaking views, surrounded by a beautifully flowered garden and overlooking the Aegean Sea. The location is perfect—just 10 minutes from the serene Plaka Beach, and a pleasant walk along the strip takes you to a variety of charming tavernas (15-40minute walk from start to finish), with Manolis being our absolute favourite. The peaceful atmosphere and picturesque surroundings make it a haven for relaxation.

The location is great: it overlooks a very nice beach with crystal clear water and never too crowded.
The house is big and every day is cleaned, the kitchen has everything to cook comfortably. Although there is no village nearby I personally really liked the location, there are three taverns nearby and since there is little lighting in the evening you can see the stars.
We had a very good time, we were sorry to leave. Absolutely recommended for those who want to stay in quiet places.

Amazing location. It is such a quiet spot of the island yet provided with a few tavernas and a minimarket. The room was rather big and fitte with a kitchenette and fridge with all you need to cook a proper meal or just prepare some breakfast. The entire place was incredibly clean, and the room was spotless. This place has that family-run business vibe that makes you feel at home. Stefanos (the owner) is so kind and welcoming. He's constantly making sure you have all you need. We'll definitely come back.
