This is an amazing location which truly feels like getting away from it all. We loved the walks right from the hostel down to the beach and along the coastline. The pod was comfortable and clean and Ruth provided an air cooler as soon as we arrived (it had been a hot day) which was great. The communal kitchen is clean and well equipped.

Very beautiful location with views on the loch and hills nearby. Only 10 minutes to Ullapool with the car. Stephen and Margaret were fantastic hosts, the house itself with the thousands of books and nice decoration creates a nice and cosy atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent and we also enjoyed the optional evening dinner! Definitely recommended and have to come back to on the next scotland trip!

It is situated in the middle of nowhere with the most fantastic views of the summer isles. Absolutely beautiful. Extremely relaxed and quiet and close to gorgeous and secluded beaches. We stayed in one of the chalets a few steps from the main building. Every meal was fantastic with a great choice of seafood. The staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. One of the nicest places I have ever stayed in.

We stayed in this hotel as we were catching a ferry early the next day and it’s location was perfect. It was quite expensive but the hotel was clean, comfortable and ideally located. We booked last minute so it may be cheaper in advance.
Very clean well serviced room, great touch with the biscuits and hot chocolate selections by the kettle - generous supplies of milk etc. The location of the hotel to the waterfront was perfect, and ideal waterfront benches. The bar inside was also very nice.
