We visited Englands rose to split a long journey, hence only staying the one night.The owner could not have been any more accommodating. We were running very late and were way past the check-in time. They very kindly waited for us even though they were shattered after a very busy days work.
The room was clean and comfortable with tea and coffee facilities. We were gutted that we had missed the bar as it looked lovely with many historical features.
We hadn't booked breakfast(hadn't realised we could). The owner again accommodated our needs and cooked us a full breakfast.....and at a time that suited us. Just a note: if you have any dietary needs, let them know, we forgot to mention that one of our party was vegetarian. Completely an ommission on our part, yet a vegetarian breakfast appeared 😋

The cottage was beautiful. Lovely view. Quiet. Very clean and well equipped with everything needed. Owners were very helpful and responded quickly to any questions. Location very handy for the town of Thame and we were able to easily get the train to London nearby as well.
Comfortable beds, and ideal location with easy access to the town centre. Breakfast was also good (although shame about limited choices, unless you paid additional to upgrade).
Location was idyllic and so peaceful.
Shepherds hut was perfect. Had everything we needed for our visit.

All the staff were so friendly and polite and nothing was too much trouble. Good location the hotel was spotless and the room was comfortable & a very good size. Has a lovely pool. The bar menu has good variety & the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Breakfast had an excellent choice and the food was fantastic. The cookies at check in are amazing and a lovely touch.
