Checkin was very smooth with just a key box, the room had everything we needed and a lovely view and the breakfast at the attached cafe was exceptional. We also had access to the living room which was lovely and spacious with lots of games. Fantastic value :)

The location is amazing, with a view of the harbour and cliffs from the living room windows. It's only a short walk into the centre of town and not much further to a major supermarket. Also the accommodation is a minute away from the board walk along the bay. We had excellent food at the Ship Inn, which is on the harbour, literally yards from our front door.

Where to begin.. communication beforehand about key collection, detailed instructions for when in the house, very clean home and well thought out with what a guest might need. Our daughter 9 and dog were sad to leave. We will definitely be trying to book again to come back one New Year. We have stayed in a lot of holiday homes and this has been the best for the home itself and location.
Location ideal. Staff advised us where we could park as hotel has no parking.

Good location for town centre. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Inexpensive rooms. The room was a bit dated and tired. A budget room for a budget price. It was generally clean and tidy.
Small but compact, ideal for 2 people. Very clean with adequate provisions. Parking off-site was very close by and the sea front only a 30 seconds walk from the property. No washing up to do as it was all placed in a box, left outside the front door and brought back later. Good location for local shops, cafes and restaurants. Very quiet considering it is so near the sea front. First visit to Stonehaven to stay and we were very impressed.
Ideal location for exploring the area. In centre of town and close to shops ,harbour and beach. Shannon was lovely, helpful and chatty.
The hotel stay was Cheap and cheerful , beds were clean, towels were new and fluffy, kettle,tea,coffee and bottled water provided.
