Much bigger than expected. Quirky with low doorways and sloping floors. Very peaceful village. Biscuits, crisps and milk provided.

Nice quiet location. The kitchen was very large and amenable for a large group of people. The bedrooms and bathroom were very clean and there were bathrobes in all rooms. The heating was excellent except the lounge was not so warm, the log fire was excellent though and there was a good stock of wood.
Lovely hotel all through. Good food in evening. Room large and comfortable with parking right outside. Very clean Staff were very helpful. Spotlessly clean.
The man who greeted me was great and his customer service was excellent. Answered my questions about local amenities and actually showed me to my room (very rare these days) Made me feel at home. Top bloke - Thankyou. The hotel is what it is - at a price which reflects that. Don't expect the Hilton at this price and you won't be disappointed... it was clean, tidy, cheap! (and in a central location, close to the motorway).
Breakfast excellent although we didn’t eat other meals there ,food being served up looked lovely location good staff we met were all lovely down to the cleaners place was spotlessly clean
