My Girlfriend and I went on a long weekend away and stayed at this lovely countryside Inn. As we arrived the staff were very welcoming, helpful and made us feel at home.
The room was spacious, comfy and filled with all the amenities you could need, with daily checks if you needed a top up of anything.
Mark was on the bar the first night and he definitely knew how to pull a cracking Timmy Taylors & Guinness accompanied by great chat.
The breakfast in the morning served by Sam (The friendly giant) who catered to all our needs again with great chat.
All round a great experience!

All the staff were very friendly and Rob was a great host - very attentive. The food and service in the restaurant was very good. Soya milk in the room also a nice touch. I enjoyed the breakfast - the vegan sausages were much appreciated! The room was also warm which was good as the temperature started to plummet soon after arriving. The bed also 'just right'...I got a good night's sleep.

Perfect location on the High St with good parking. Staff very friendly and helpful. Limited continental breakfast selection but it was New Years Day!! Full english breakfast was excellent and cooked to order. Room basic but comfortable. We didn't eat in the bar in the evening but menu looked good. Will stay again next time we are in the area.

Room was very clean and spacious. Location was right in the centre of town so ideal for us. We were fortunate enough to be able to park in the small car park at the rear, although space is very limited.
for me the location near an address that I had to attend and because it is opposite Wetherspoon’s
where drinks are cheap , the food inexpensive and always a lively atmosphere at night!
