The central location was excellent. There is no on-site car park but the hotel is directly opposite a multi-storey car park and there is also very close street parking (metered). Food was great - both dinner and breakfast. Room very clean. Staff pleasant and helpful. Bed comfy.

Julie has thought of everything needed for a comfortable stay. The room was spotless and breakfast was delicious! Julie has a very nice manner with nothing too much trouble making us feel very welcome. The location for us was perfect and we were able to walk everywhere we needed in Newport. Tea, coffee, milk, sugar, toilet roll, and washing up liquid were provided. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful, and when they found out it was our sons 18th birthday, they gave him a bottle prosecco, which we thought was a really lovely thing to do. The location was ideal and peaceful.

Very,very good value for money; exceptionally comfortable beds; freshly painted; new carpets; new sanitary ware. We had a couple of minor issues but these were dealt with. This does not pretend to be a 5-star hotel but it’s central location and inexpensive room rate make it a real find
