We absolutely loved our stay at The Old Library and Lodge. We have been to Arisaig before, but this was our first stay at The Old Library and Lodge, but definitely not the last. Everything was perfect, the lovely and comfortable room with sea views, the delicious food in the restaurant and the friendly staff. We will be back.

Ideal location opposite the railway station and a minutes walk from the harbour in Mallaig for catching the ferry to Skye. Simple accommodation that worked perfectly. Spotlessly clean. Greeted by charming hostess. Would certainly stay again in the future.
The location was excellent, as it was opposite the train station. The lady in charge was very helpful, not only did she allow me to drop my suitcase off early, she even took it up the stairs and left it in my room for me! When I checked in she showed me around and had put the heater on in my room so it was nice and warm. The kitchen had help yourself tea and coffee and was always spotlessly clean.
The shower rooms had shampoo and soap and again were very clean.
I would definitely stay here again.
Very friendly and welcoming staff, clean and comfortable accomodation. Bed was comfy and shower temperature was near perfect! Location excellent as a base to explore the rest of the region, whilst the room rate is very affordable in comparison to other accomodations in the area. Would highly recommend to travellers on a budget.
Cheapest accommodation in Mallaig by far. You won't find a better location either, right next to the train station and harbour. Beds aren't the most comfy but if you want that go and pay more. Kitchen has full facilities and is very clean. New shower/toilet block is excellent -with very clean and hot, powerful showers. Host is very friendly accommodating. This is my third year of staying here.
Affordable and very clean accommodation in central location close to shops and ferry. Great facilities and tea or coffee offered on arrival.
I had a good night's sleep. Hope to stay again soon.
