Stayed here again (totally worth it.) I like the area. It's close by an art gallery (that was recommended during my stay as I admired the artwork in the dining hall). I visited Dean Park Castle thats within walking distance.
The room was more spacious and so was the private bathroom with a robe! I felt very welcomed.

Debbie & Jim were excellent hosts! We stayed here the night before we flew back to the states after 3 weeks in the UK. They welcomed us into their home and helped us relax with some pleasant conversation. Meeting their darling granddaughter was an added bonus! First class facilities and first class hosts! Thanks again Debbie & Jim!

We stayed in the Bothy, which is lovely. The estate is stunning, very secluded and the ideal location for a quiet week in nature. We have loved Ayrshire, the coast is a well-kept secret and there are plenty of places to see inland too, Dumfries House being a highlight.

It felt more like another home elsewhere. Perfect name Kumba.
Arriving to find it shut having booked the room a year ago and letting me upgrade the room 13 days before travel. No one answering the phone and Booking.com not getting back to me. Having travelled from Yorkshire for my husbands 60th birthday trip to the open. Thank good we got an affordable deal at Oak View Lodge as every other venue was sold out or £800+
Price - good for B&B, bed - very clean and comfortable, location - convenient on the E outskirts of Kilmarnock, staff - mostly friendly, bar - well stocked and good ambiance, food - plenty of variety , standard fare. Preferring is in that order.
Very clean, dressing gown and slippers in the room. Liked the jug to fill with chilled water as required. Great meal in the restaurant. Friendly staff and good location
Location was perfect, right in centre of town and close to the park. Every single member of staff was friendly and very helpful. We had a twin room as it was the only one left so not ideal and would have preferred a double room. It was tired but very clean . There is a big family friendly beer garden where we ate some really tasty food and the prices of the food and drink is very reasonable. The bar and garden are busy all weekend.
