The room was bigger than I'd expected and very well equipped. The bed was super comfy and it was great to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The choices at breakfast were very good and the food was delicious. Staff were really friendly and the Black Hat is in a very good location close to the centre of Ilkley and with easy walking access to the countryside

A great experience right from checking in. I'm disabled and your friendly staff took my luggage to my room for me and one of the cleaning staff carried it down for me in the morning too.
Food and atmosphere were excellent would stay here again.

Chez Vivienne was exceptional. Andrew was lovely and very welcoming upon arrival, the room was incredibly cosy and well decorated and the attention to detail was amazing, with a lovely gesture left for us on our anniversary stay. We would definitely return!

The location was perfect. The purpose of my visit was to attend a family funeral. The short walk from the rail station was ideal as I travelled by train. I also wished to visit the moors as I was in the area. I was very pleased with my room, the bed was exceptionally comfortable and the bathroom facilities spotless. The hotel is a magnificent building and retains character. The staff were helpful and friendly.
The room I was given was above expectation, very clean, comfortable and warm. The breakfast choice was very good and the location was ideal for what we needed.
Beautiful apartment and very spacious. Tastefully decorated and very clean. We stayed here as we attended a wedding at the nearby Bolton Abbey and the location was perfect. It’s also in the middle of the town so ideal for shopping and local eateries - Tesco is just up the road for any supplies needed.
