The location was great, a perfect spot to explore the Peaks. The house was well equipped and comfortable. Parking was available. The decor was great and communication with the host was good. The kitchen is well stocked and the welcome bowl of fruit and snacks was a nice touch. There were loads of toiletries in the bathroom which was a nice touch.

There’s a complaint in the system and for whatever reason between this hotel and booking.com, I have now paid plus £200 for a less than £100 room. I’m having to fight for my money back which is actually a joke when I paid twice to help all parties with the booking issue.

I appreciated the convenient location and the supportive host. The property is well-equipped with all the essentials for daily living, making it ideal for a short stay. I also found the loft to be excellent. It's well-designed and stands out from other properties.

The property was charming - just right for a couple, very clean and comfortable. Lovely of the owners to leave us essentials - tea, coffee, milk - and also some treats!
The staff are fantastic, the pub is really great (the ales are perfect), and the curry house on the middle floor is excellent too. Whether you want to spend time in Glossop, or walk in the hills, the location is ideal. The cooked breakfast is made to order and really tasty.
