I recently stayed at The Lighthouse and had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel’s location was perfect, close to Longleat which made it very convenient.
The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were welcoming and professional throughout my stay. My room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed and modern amenities like free Wi-Fi, smart TV, Black-out blinds.

A warm cheerful welcome to brighten the day (weather was not so bright). Clean facilities, comfy beds and nice room. Tasty breakfast options and nice cereal/breakfast buffet.
Could see the white horse on the hill from our room.
Cosy pub with country aesthetics. Loved the pheasant feather lampshades!
Dinner was lovely, just a shame we didn't have room for pudding!
The homemade welcome biscuits were a great touch and went down well with our cup of tea from the tea station in our room.

Cosy, very clean and bed was incredibly comfy.
Only met one member of staff but he was friendly and went out of his way to make sure I had everything for my stay. Would recommend and located near some great creative shops!

Lovely country side location. Room and ensuite very clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast served by friendly and attentive staff. Nice tips from Joss on where to visit. Would certainly recommend and intend returning.
Great room. Very comfortable beds, and very clean. Great shower, and large fresh towels. We were welcomed on arrival and shown our room. The welcome refreshments and fridge were much appreciated. Breakfast was tasty, and served with a smile. The place is well kept and the garden is beautiful. Plenty of parking and in a great peaceful location.
Ideal location, good value free breakfast,free parking and very friendly and helpful staff. Stayed in room with balcony .All very clean and comfortable with fan provided as it was very hot.Despite the location it proved very quiet at night enabling a good nights sleep.Table and chairs on little balcony a nice touch.

Everything was perfect! Claire was so welcoming & friendly. The room was lovely, very clean & comfortable. Breakfast was delicious too! The location was ideal, just a 5 minute walk to the shop’s & restaurants.
The location was beautiful well above what we expected. The property was a beautiful 16th century old house which had original features it was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was amazing we have never had such a varied selection of food in any other B&B absolutely fantastic. The host was very attentive nothing was too much trouble very nice person. There were plenty of interesting places to visit and for those who love walking it was ideal lots of beautiful country side. We are definitely planning on visiting this B&B again.
