The hotel is comfortable, the rooms are cosy and spotless. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The three mile pub beside the hotel is lovely and has good food options. The metro is only 10 minutes walk and only 15 pounds or so to get a taxi back from the city centre if out late.
The bed is very comfortable, good facilities with an iron in the room as well

The staff were very friendly, the bar was cheap, location was great for what we needed, the decking that ran around the hotel was great plenty seating areas inside and out, playpark there in the garden but no kids allowed?
It was very clean, quiet location with a lot of places to eat international cuisine.
It is very quiet but because not many guests if busy on your floor then will be noisy.
Rooms are varied I was in a single room in the last floor it met all my needs.

For what we paid, this hotel was ok value for money and in a good location to get to the arena. The room was fairly clean with a few small issues and check in/check out was easy. The room was as basic as expected, we had gone for the cheap option. Walls looked freshly painted and the floor was nice and clean. Staff were really nice and friendly.
Very friendly staff, building and facilities basic but ideal for a cheap stay, John the staff member was very pleasant and helpful, 3 of us sharing a room whih was clean and comfortable.
Clifton House is ideal for those travelling for work. Great value, no messing about. Staff and management friendly. Cheap bar, pool table and outdoor drinking areas. Was even able to load my netflix onto my rooms tv. Room clean and well laid out. I have stayed in many places in the area trying to save money and had several terrible experiences. This place was perfect for both saving money and for a hassle free, comfortable stay.
Location is a short drive from anywhere worthwhile in the Newcastle area.
couldn’t fault the place (other than room very warm). guy on front desk friendly and helpful, room clean, en-suite spot on. small bar in reception area, including sarnies and micro meals, pool table. ideal location (we walked into town), couldn’t ask for more for what we paid (very cheap). highly recommend
