Board our ship and it’s also close to many restaurants and shops. Staff (especially Brian at frontdesk) were fabulous. Nice cafe/lounge area to relax for a cuppa coffee.

we stayed for both evening dinner and for lunch the next day. Enjoyed both very much. it was a very convenient location for the cruise port. We also enjoyed a morning stroll around the old town walls.

this is a small but perfectly formed b&b the location is idyllic, the room was very comfortable, the breakfast was plentiful and delicious (continental).
I would highly recommend staying here and wouldnt hesitate to return, the proprietor was friendly and accommodating (even though she was unwell)

Excellent host. Joe gave some good advice on what to do in Southampton. In particular the music pub next door. The apartment was ideally located for our cruise embarkation on the next day. Had use of his parking bay for 24 hours.

Access codes changed at the last minute which made things confusing. There were a lot of maintenance issues. Door frame loose, lamps next to bed on their last legs, side board in entrance falling to pieces, toaster caused fire alarm to go off due to safety switch not working. Light next to bed was a disco light (flicked from red, blue, pink…. Not a reading lamp). Just a bit shabby and definitely not a luxury apartment. It was stressful having to find somewhere to park and then find the apartment to get the garage key. The car park is as a good size. Milk and decent coffee would have been welcome.
For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Excellent staff, lovely evening meal at The Moldy Fig, enjoyable entertainment during dinner, very good breakfast, comfortable bed and good en-suite. Location was ideal for Eastleigh football club where we attended a Christmas Ball.
