This was our favorite place to stay during our Thames Path walk. The rooms are recently and stylishly renovated, and really look good. The ambience of this medieval inn was great. My two friends and I stayed last year. We live relatively close by, but wanted some 'chill-out and chat time' so booked again for one night (three rooms) this year. The rooms were great, close together and with showers. Very clean and tidy. Love the chic elegance and calming atmosphere of the house. It lends itself as an ideal base to re-charge your batteries. We also like that there is a variety of parking spaces and a pool. The staff are always really kind and helpful.
