This place is a complete hidden gem. Stunning views and setting.
If I had stayed longer, there were lots of walking and cycling opportunities around. Not that I cycle, but for information purposes, I'm adding that. There are only 2 pods and a cabin in the enclosed field, well spaced out and safe for dogs off the lead. Firepit at the pod with a supply of wood provided to start off a campfire. The shower was great and instant hot water. The owner was very helpful too. A perfect night in all.

The Craigengillan estate is beautiful and a stunning location, particularly as the weather was amazing. The pod was lovely and clean. Plenty of space both inside and outside. The opportunity for the kids to see horses being shod at the stables was great.
Location was perfect quiet and out of the way. The. Wood and kindling provided was a nice touch for the fire pit. Very well kept and spotlessly clean. It was warm.
Location is stunning, it is so peaceful. The kitchen is lovely and the aga was a big tick for us l, we loved cooking on it. The river running past the cottage was so beautiful and added to the overall feel.

Location, second time we have stayed here, got out on our bikes again. The lodge is fully equipped and spotless, firepit and bbq, great. Fabulous stay again no doubt will be back, just beware
