Such a wonderful, enjoyable, comfortable, special and friendly place to stay. This family run business exceeded expectations - from it super clean, beautifully decorated and spacious room, to the very friendly staff and locals, to the artistic and unique touches through the whole place, to the fantastic location in the real heart of the South Wales Valleys. On the weekend we were there, there was live music in the dedicated (fantastic) venue room next to the bar which we very much enjoyed (and no, you could not hear any noise from the bedroom and it didn't go on late anyhow). I'd highly recommend as both a place to stay and a music venue. Well done Anja and family! A++

The apartment was absolutely stunning, the host was exceptional, super friendly and even offer to take me and collect me to the local brewery I was visiting for my evening meal. Tiny Rebel brewery is in walking distance and well worth a visit. As I was travelling for work I was on a tight time schedule and didn't make use of the hot tub that was outside in the beautiful garden adjacent to the accommodation but I will definitely return for a relaxing break at some point.

It was perfect so clean and tidy and in a great location , it was great for a run along the canal and situated close to Cumbrian and Newport . Lovely shower and everything you needed.

The location was really good..and close to the shops etc. Parking was great and no problem at all. The kitchen and bathroom were very nice..and the tiles are nice. Shower good with good pressure. House light and mainly comfortable
