My host contacted me after booking the stay to communicate essential information that reassured me I was in good, helpful and considerate hands. It was spotlessly clean, extremely tidy and well ordered. It was a fabulous breakfast prepared using fresh foods and cooked by my host who was very friendly and amiable.

The setting of the guest house as you walk into stone rock artisan pizzeria area you have unique decor and rustic look, like a country cottage with wooden beams and exposed stone work. Then the corridors to the rooms was decorated and home feeling with a peaceful vibe. Then entering the room you are presented with a cosy feeling layout and an en suite with a modern shower and light up mirror and as a bonus heated towel rail! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable as well as inviting and approachable, and was great with mental health needs. The pizzas offered on the menu that is cooked in house in an artisan clay oven was phenomenal and well worth the price and experience. The homely feeling of everything makes you feel welcome and like it's a home away from home. It was very peaceful too. Well worth the money and time staying there.

A beautiful, old, yet modernised house. The host was lovely, and the dog was adorable. We were literally a stone throw away from the Castle and a good little town. We had everything we needed and enjoyed it.

Very friendly staff, very clean room, real traditional pub with great selection of Ales and nice lunch time food. Delicious breakfast, excellent location
Very pleased with the size, facilities and cleanliness of our room. The super king size bed was very comfortable , also there was another single bed in the room, so ideal for a family. The bathroom was very clean and had a lovely shower. The fan in the room was a pleasant addition , which we used, as the night we stayed was extremely hot.
We decided to have breakfast and were very pleased with the quality and quantity which was served.
We thought it was exceptional for the money that we paid.
Very clean bedroom and en-suite. Ideally located for Chepstow races. Very friendly staff and managers. Very comfortable bed. It’s on a main road but well insulated from noise
Quiet location however only 4 or 5 miles to Town very clean parking outside if bringing horse box it can be tight on country access road to property so if attending shows at David Broome ideal property to book
