Very impressive accommodation in Cardiff - I extended my stay twice because I was so comfortable! A lot of care has been taken in renovating these flats. The room felt brand new and had top of the line amenities in the kitchenette and bathroom. I was easily able to walk from the train station and check-in was a breeze. Hosts provide all information you might need and are easy to contact. I've already recommended City Studios to my family and friends.

If you are looking for a rustic country inn with all the modern convieniences, look no futher than the Tyr Winch. The staff was attentive and welcoming even though they were very busy (they were hosting an anniversary party upstairs) and we arrived at the dinner rush. The food is fantastic (I recommend the Chicken Helwir) and so are the drinks. They have a variety of local beers and ciders on tap along with a full bar and wine options too. The rooms are comfortable and newly updated, but still maintain a rustic charm with the clever use of some wooden accents. The bathroom by contrast was very clean and modern with a large shower and a towel warmer.
