The property is located at the edge of New Forest which we wanted to visit. It is also close to Calshot Beach where you can see the Isle of Wight, ferries crossing etc so effectively you kill two birds with one stone. This is also one of the very few self-catering options in the area as well as being one where you avoid the extortionate New Forest prices (eg Lyndhurst). Asda and Costa are nearby. Lots of condiments were free and available such as tea, coffee, salt, flour, ketchup, washing up liquid, shower gel, shampoo in case needed. (Which is a nice touch)

For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
Room was very clean, dinner options and bar were very good, location good, cleanliness was excellent throughout the building. Its a family business that showed due to the care that was taken
Everything about this cottage was exceptional, the hot tub was very clean, the facilities were very clean and very well equipped! Only place we have stayed that has provided towels, shower gel, washing up liquid etc (not that this is a deal breaker for us!) … we loved the decor of the cottage also, very modern but original at the same time … the added touch of Prosecco and chocolates on arrival was lovely and went down a treat!
We loved the location, the decor is lovely and the people who reside at the house were really kind.
The garden is enclosed which was great for a curious and active cocker spaniel. The hot tub was a lovely addition!
I do recommend a car as it’s quite remote (which is exactly what we needed as busy frontline practitioners) it’s 25 minutes from the sea and 10 minutes from the forest 🥰
We had a situation that was a genuine mistake and was dealt with by the owner and that would encourage me to stay there again.
Location was perfect as a stop off as we travelled between two locations. Room was very clean and surprisingly quiet considering proximity to the road. Breakfast was excellent. There was a great range and the hot food was all very nicely cooked. The host, Helen, was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.
excellent location for what we wanted to do. Hosts were amazing, went out of their way to get us fans for the hot weather! House was very clean and comfortable
The location was ideal due being close to a venue I was working on. The Bed & Breakfast accommodation was better than I was expecting the room very pleasant and nicely furnished. I was late to get back, but had diner in the bistro and I must say yet again surprised with the quality of the meal. The food was tasty and piping hot and beautifully presented. This was up to the best and surpasses the The Ivy in Winchester I been to recently. It is now going to be the place to go when in the area.
was very clean and tidy, the host went above and beyond in every aspect. it was very well equipped.
we had a storm whilst there and the owners came to check we were ok.
ideally placed to access at the nearby walks and attractions.
