The cottage was so clean and comfortable. Bed mattresses and comforters felt new. Despite being surrounded by the hotel, it felt private and cozy. Restaurant was very convenient and we were able to get a reservation within 90 minutes. Tasty food. Everyone was friendly.

The room was extremely comfortably albeit decorated in a rather eclectic taste (side lamp had metal fronds which could take your eye out if not careful). The staff were extremely pleasant. It was nice to come and have a reasonable meal after a day of sightseeing.

loved it all. Speechless, what a lovely place. One of the nicest stop over places I've ever stayed. Perfect in every way. Location was perfect as needed to be near Stirling University campus, a few steps away. Also had a dog with us so the easy access on foot to great woodland walks round the corner was also a huge plus. Owner was very communicative and helpful.
