We were walking the Rob Roy Way. We hadn’t realised it was more of a hotel for bus loads of elderly people. Not that there is anything wrong with that, it just wasn’t what we expected.
Located in Stirling, 7.5 miles from Lake of Menteith, Black Bull Gartmore has accommodations with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar.

Loved that we were able to check in earlier by Bill Henderson.......he was so very lovely.....Rooms were perfect.....breakfast lovely...interesting history of the town....all were extremely accomodating.
Nether Glenny Farm enjoys a location in Stirling, 3.4 miles from Lake of Menteith and 14 miles from Loch Katrine. There's a private entrance at the farm stay for the convenience of those who stay.

The cleanliness, spaciousness, and excellent location made it an ideal choice for our holiday. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and conveniently located place to stay. We would definitely consider staying here again on our next visit.
Perfect location for visiting the Trossachs. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel was spotlessly clean. We had a 3 course evening meal which was delicious and excellent value for money.

Superb quiet location on the edge of the forest but only a short stroll into town. The cottage was very comfortable, well equipped and was spotlessly clean. The hosts were lovely and very helpful. It's a great base for walking, cycling or just chilling out, I'll definitely return.
