Besides all of its other features, the staff, Marie and Anna, were outstandingly helpful. We had a great deal of difficulty with our phone, and they sent us on our way to a telephone store to get things worked out. The location is exceptional, only a very short walk to the beach. Restaurants are within walking distance. Breakfast was very good. There is. Laundry at a nearby camp ground which we could use. The suite was sufficient for our needs with a small kitchenette and a table and chairs outside.

Lovely hotel. Well situated in the centre of La Couarde. Our room was spacious and very airy, well kitted out and with two separate beds (by prior arrangement) which isn’t that easy to get, surprisingly. Decoration was very tasteful and all very clean. Staff were very friendly and attentive, even remembering that my travel partner was ill and enquiring about him. Breakfast very nice: excellent bread and croissants and nice touches like choice of salted/unsalted Charente butter, freshly squeezed orange juice and Ile de Re honey.

gorgeous site which has been perfectly landscaped so that each hut feels private. The facilities feel high end for a family site. Great restaurant on site, good bike hire and lots of activities for children. location in a stunning part of Ile De Re with beautiful beaches, woods and pretty little town with a great market.
We were upgraded to a premium 2 bedroom hut which was perfect for us to stay with our newborn baby, we were able to fit a travel cot next to our bed (which we couldn’t do in the basic hut).
It displays a 1* yet the property is very clean and very comfortable. The hosts are extremely welcoming and helpful. The food was good quality and the bar area very homely. A delightful find on île de Ré.
The location is perfect. The Staff were helpful and friendly. The cabins are well equipped, but there is no oven just a microwave with a gas hob. There is a dishwasher though, always a bonus, who wants to wash up on their holiday!! Very clean and smelt fresh. The aircon was a real bonus and was needed, as it was very hot!!
Lovely 2 bed property with air conditioner. Very comfortable beds, lovely linen, very clean. Good location, near a supermarket and small town with restaurants and small shops. Very peaceful, lovely location. Swimming pool was small but nice, on-site restaurant with pizza takeaway.
As in our Ile d'Oleron stay last year, we found the location at the northern tip of the Ile de Re to be ideal - not too touristy, but lots of wildlife to see, and marshes to cycle around! Beach within 200m of our house for daily swims. Classy restaurant when needed, but nearby supermarket and take-away pizza van too. Well-built modern house, everything worked well, including mosquito screens on key windows.
