The room was huge! On the ground level, with a sliding door opening to a private deck. The bed was quite comfortable and the staff were extremely helpful. They were very kind to let me keep my luggage there early as I was changing hotels. It comes with breakfast which looked like a large selection of fruit, pastries etc but I didn’t take it.

Everything, the location is amazing, the entire hostel is great but the star of the show was the whole staff and other guests, really enjoyed meeting every single person there and they made the stay that more enjoyable. Fantastic location in the middle of Cap Breton! Numerous stores and restaurants close by, easy street parking. We appreciated having an entire apartment with bedroom, living room, and kitchen, as well as a washer and dryer. Just great! Cap Breton is a nice, quiet surf town with a great, super-long and fairly unpopulated beach.

The staff were fantastic, very welcoming and helpful. The room was lovely and the location was ideal for us being equidistant from beach, lake and near to shops, market and restaurant. It was also quiet. The hotel is stylish and spotlessly clean. The pool was excellent too, a lovely setting.
As before this hotel is one of my favorites because of the quiet location, excellent, super friendly staff and everything is spotless clean and works. last time I wrote about their pillows being a bit thin and surprise when we arrived back a week later they had better pillows. not because of my comment apparently but because it was planned already so even better good night rest.
The hotel was in a central location between the town, sea and the lake. Our room was good especially with a fan which was definitely needed as it was so hot. The pool and sun deck area was fabulous and everything was spotlessly clean. It was easy to park and the secure area to leave our bikes was very useful. We loved it and will be back next year!
Jo & Joe has a real family vibe to it, the stuff are super friendly and always ready to have a chat or help out. The location of the hostel was really good. I did use their bikes to get around witch I would highly recombed. The rooms were very good sizes and safe. It was a very clean hostel as it got cleaned 1-2 times a day.
Super great experience and the out side garden vibe was great.
