The location is beautiful as it is up in the mountains overlooking the island. It is much cooler and wet though so keep that in mind. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and the room was very clean with an amazing, comfortable bed.

Haven't tried the Hotel Restaurant but bar service is open all day between 7am-9pm and coffee is really nice. There are plenty of very good restaurants and coffee/bakery around. It's worth to have a walk around the village. Vilaflor is located at 1400m above sea level so expect it to be cooler than down the coast- there is gas heating so it was quite comfortable in the room.
The location is what drew us to this accommodation as we did not want to be in a tourist trap on the coast, and wanted easy access to walking in nature. Vilaflor village proved to be ideal for these purposes.
This is a lovely hotel and the location is ideal if you are keen to visit Vilaflor and its surrounding area. We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and it was very comfortable, with friendly and attentive staff. The breakfast was the best that we ate during our stay in Tenerife. We ate dinner in the restaurant on one of the evenings and the food was excellent too. Vilaflor is a great location for hiking or cycling, for example.
Great location - if you want to hike the Teide volcano in the morning and swim in the sea in the evening. The apartment is very clean, well equipped. There is a small restaurant downstairs, with good, cheap food and friendly staff....recommend
