We loved it here and wished we could have stayed more than three nights. We loved our room with a balcony. Roll and his wife were very welcoming and friendly. Roll was very helpful with suggestions on what we could do each day. The breakfast was very substantial and suited all tastes. The restaurants in the area were very good, offering a wide range of cuisine, all within an easy walking distance.

Amazing place to stay, especially family friendly. There are indoor and outdoor play areas, farm animals, as well as fantastic views over the Chiemsee and the mountains. The on site cafe is delicious and the breakfast is great. The room was spacious, well appointed with a good kitchen. Super friendly staff too.

The communication from the point of booking was exceptional and then on arrival and during the stay nothing was too much trouble and the advice given to us was fantastic. It is a beautiful location just at the start of the woods and with views on the mountains. Perfect to walk the small dog which travelled with us. Breakfast was simple but fine. Bathroom spacious. Building has charm.
Everything is clean and well decorated, the beds are super comfortable. Nothing was missing. Communication with the owner is faultless. It is possible to reach a bakery and a shop on foot. It is in a quiet location. We would love to come back again.
Certainly it is always all about the location. The Alpenhof has a gorgeous view over the mountains, is easy to reach from the A8 highway. Centrally located to go hiking at Marquartstein or bathing at the Chiemsee.
