This is a beautiful property, with high levels of comfort and finish, with exceptionally comfortable beds and loads of space for the four of us and our two dogs. The village and the surrounding areas are equally beautiful with the village with two restaurants/bars within easy walking distance (800m), and Gstaat is only a 20 minute walk, by the lake.
Our host supplied a well laid out digital pack that helped to guide us around the local area, and then checked up on us throughout our stay, showing a true interest in our enjoyment and satisfaction.
A great base for exploring, walks and bike rides. I hope we get the opportunity to return sometime in the future.

The cloister is unique, in very nice location within the lake area of Bavaria near Chiemsee. Seeon has a extraordinary historical and spiritual atmosphere. The reconstruction of the hotel was costly, perfect and comfortable.
Breakfast was excellent incl. domestic honey, pretzels and local bread. Little higher cost of the hotel but appropriate to the "genuis loci" of the whole histrical place wmebdded in a beautiful preserved nature.
The location is incredible. The whole complex has been nicely renovated recently. The rooms were huge! Breakfast was really good. We were pleasantly surprised to discover that Mozart had apparently spent some time at monastery.
Pretty much everything! I wish we could have staid longer. The place is amazing, the location magic and the breakfast out of this world. Will defined return!
The property seems to be newly renovated. Everything was very clean. Spacious room with a big bed and all needed amenities (even a nespresso coffee machine). Location is great too, just by the lake.
Also you can get a wonderful and very healthy breakfast in the hotel restaurant.
