This was my favorite accomodation in our over 2 weeks of travel through Austria and Switzerland. The view from the 2 private balconies on the 2nd floor was incredible. We really appreciated the space, the washing machine (which worked perfectly), the comfort of the beds (2 twins located together so function as a king bed.) The owner met us on arrival and gave us the keys and a short overview of what was what in the apartment. Wengen is a lovely and quiet place where one can enjoy the beauty of the earth. I will never forget our stay in this beautiful city and would definitely rent this place again should we return. Thanks to Rebecca and Will for making us feel welcome.

Our stay was perfect! The room we were staying at had a balcony facing the entrance to the hotel, with the windows closed, we could not hear any noise from outside. The breakfast was very good, quite an extensive spread. Some plus points, there are some guests lounge, with lots of teas and coffees, which we could also take up to our room. Also, a fully equipped “picnic room”, where we can have our take out food, and even a microwave oven to heat up the food. The picnic room is very cosy, and looks so pretty too! There was no TV in the room, but there’s one in one of the guests lounge.

The accomodiation is in a very beautiful location, ten minutes from the train station, easy to get there and in a remute, quiet street. Everything is very clean and comfortable. The apartment is very well equipped with everything you might need.If you plan to stay in the area for hiking all day and spend time in the mountains, this is the perfect place to stay at.
The location of the property in relation to both the station and shops was excellent. The size of the rooms and garden meant that there was plenty of space for us as a family. The flat is excellently equipped. The rental company staff were friendly and quickly dealt with an issue we had with the shower. Being able to drop in and see them to discuss was easy and helped get the issue resolved.
The hotel was so amazing, the breakfast was delicious and the staff were delightful. Perfect and very, very cute place to stay and in an ideal location.
Hotel was very clean and quiet. Beds very comfortable, breakfast selection options very good (scrambled eggs were the best I've ever tasted). Staff were very polite and helpful with information and provided any additional supplies if needed. The views from the hotel are quite stunning. Location gave good access to a variety of walking trails in the area. We hope to return to Wengen in the future and would choose to stay in Hotel Alpenruhe for sure.
The staff were so friendly and helpful. The location was perfect being right next to the station, Mannlichen lift and the end of the ski run in Wengen. We enjoyed using the extensive wellness area. Our budget room was compact as we expected, but it was also spotlessly clean. The food was good and the deserts excellent.
