Our stay was perfect! The room we were staying at had a balcony facing the entrance to the hotel, with the windows closed, we could not hear any noise from outside. The breakfast was very good, quite an extensive spread. Some plus points, there are some guests lounge, with lots of teas and coffees, which we could also take up to our room. Also, a fully equipped “picnic room”, where we can have our take out food, and even a microwave oven to heat up the food. The picnic room is very cosy, and looks so pretty too! There was no TV in the room, but there’s one in one of the guests lounge.

Location was amazing and great views over the valley to the waterfalls and over the stunning mountains. All facilities were great, kitchen and equipment was ideal for a family holiday - including a fondue set! Loved having Wilson the cat with us! Outdoor space and seating next to the fire was our favourite bit.

The hotel is ideally located in the small town of Lauterbrunnen and is very quiet despite its proximity to the train station. It consists of two locations: one in an older building and the other in a new building almost directly across from the old one. Everything is new and clean, though very modest, but sufficient for basic needs. If you stay here, you know what to expect—definitely not luxury. Nevertheless, the overall impression remains positive.
I had an amazing stay at Valley Hostel in Lauterbrunnen. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was perfect, with everything you could need to feel at home. It was very clean and well-organized. The view from the hostel is breathtaking, looking out to the mountains and beautiful natural surroundings. The location is unbeatable, just a 4-minute walk to the station. I was so happy with my stay and would highly recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Lauterbrunnen. It was very clean and in a good location. Breakfast had a good range of food (although we had to pay extra). The staff were polite and helpful, and allowed us to check in early which was great.
Honestly the place is so cheap for Switzerland, yet it had comfy bed, decent staff, decent facilities and amazing location. Can't really ask for more at this price.
A great low cost accommodation in the center of Lauterbrunnen, train station is 5 mins away by walk. There was a fully equipped kitchen and a shared bathroom for one floor, all of it was very clean. I didn't get the time to eat in the café but had to deal with an unpleasant situation and the staff was super helpful, nice and quick.Thank you so much.
