The location was excellent, right in the old town but quiet. We had a little trouble finding the street but a nice local who spoke English showed us. The entry instructions were easy, there is no lift so carrying heavy bags up 2 flights of stairs maybe tough for some people. Overall the property is excellent and well managed

Fantastic apartment that saved us from a disaster
A wonderful apartment run by very friendly and helpful agency - Solution-Grischun - and thank goodness we were able to book this at short notice because the day before our arrival into Chur we had just found out that the new owner of the accommodation we had booked -Bergpension Battagliahütte in Malix near Chur -would not honour our confirmed booking made 8 months earlier blaming the previous owner
Thankfully we found this wonderful apartment right in centre of Chur altstadt within walking distance of the train station, all the sights and plenty of restaurants and shops. There was even a Saturday morning food market on the street outside with delicious local produce ( finishes about 1130).
It is in an historic building yet modern and very spacious inside, super clean, large comfortable bed and quiet.
We paid an extra 20 CHF for a later check out at 1200 and enjoyed a leisurely start to the day and a stroll down to Chur main station for our Glacier Express trip to Zermatt at 1426.
The only downside for some would be that there is no lift and 4 flights of stairs with another flight from the lounge to the bedroom, the apartment is right in the top of the building. This is definitely not for those who can’t do stairs or have heavy luggage but it was just perfect for us.
Top tip- if you arrive well before you can check in, stash your luggage at the station and hop on a train to Arosa, the one hour journey was fabulous and as good as parts of the Glacier Express and included in an interrail pass. There are self service luggage lockers on Chur station platform, different sizes for very reasonable prices - we used a medium one for 2 large wheelie holdalls.

Clean and quirky- until recently it was a jail! The rooms are therefore cell-sized (cell-and-a-half if you include the excellent shower room) and a bit cramped. It was our second stay (which says something in itself) and the wobbly bunk ladders seem to have been improved

This is an air bnb ideal for a stop over in Chur, which is the end/start of the Bernina Express. It is a 20-minute walk from the station in a quiet and modern residential area. The host Monika is friendly and goes out of her way in preparing an excellent breakfast at the time we wished it. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The whole property is nicely furnished.
Staff were brilliant, lady checking us in was so helpful and took time to explain where to eat, activities to do etc. She is a credit to the hotel. Rooms are basic, very clean, and comfortable. Location is excellent, right in the old town and close to everything
The facilities were spotless, the staff helpful and the 4 person female dorm comfortable with its own toilet and large shower.
I appreciated the allocation of a lower bunk to enable me to deal with some mobility issues and the company of the other women was pleasant.
Great, central location. Very clean (shared bathrooms but had two on our floor to ourselves!) The breakfast was delicious and the fresh croissants were some of the nicest we’ve had! We also had a sink in the room on top of the shared bathrooms which was ideal plus for a triple room, there were 3 very comfy beds!
Good location from the Chur train station, so it's ideal for those who want to catch the Bernina Express.
We had a really beautiful and very clean room. Beds were comfortable. We had enough space for our things. We had more than enough towels.

The room was spacious and light and very clean. The doona and pillows were super soft. The bathroom was well designed and with good shower pressure. It was extremely close to the station. Definitely an ideal location as is also still an easy walk to the old town.
We chose this for an overnight stop in Chur, it was the cheapest with facilities we wanted so we booked. Not disappointed. Really helpful staff, great room, generous breakfast buffet. The room was large and comfortable. Location is ideal for exploring Chur.
